Henchman Story is 100% funded on Kickstarter!
Hey, everyone, we’ve got great news - Henchman Story is fully funded on Kickstarter! That means full voice acting, an original soundtrack and that extra bit of polish are on the way for the final game when we release in Spring. We did it!
Thank you to everyone here on Itch.io who has played the demo, followed us or added the game to your collection. The Itch community’s reception to this game was instrumental in its Kickstarter success, and you can expect the full version of Henchman Story and any other visual novel we release to be supported right here, DRM free!
We’ve still got over 3 days left on the campaign, and lots of exclusive rewards are still available - so if you have the means, head on over to our Kickstarter page and check them out!
We’ve also got some great stretch goals planned, if you can, please keep spreading the word! The last leg of a campaign can be crazy, and we’d love to add some of our more ambitious goals to the final game.
Thanks again!

Congratulations on getting fully funded! I’ll keep an eye on the kickstarter to see how many stretch goals can be achieved :)
What does DMR stand for?
Thanks! Fingers crossed on those stretch goals for sure.
Digital Rights Management (DRM) is a tool that some games/programs include that restricts how they can be used, ostensibly to prevent piracy. However you don't have to worry about that, because we don't use it. :)
Oh. Thanks for explaining :)
