Hey, everyone! It's been a spell, and Henchman Story's development has been chugging along at a steady pace, so we wanted to make sure that everyone who's been following along here on Itch.io was up to speed. Lately, the main thing we've been focusing on is Henchman Story's audio. This includes...

• Voice-over: Henchman Story has roughly 7000 lines of VO, all mixed and mastered by our partners at Sound Cadence Studios before being imported into the game.
• Sound Effects: We really think SFX can add a lot to these kinds of games, so Henchman Story has over 200 unique SFX, all carefully woven into each scene.
• Music: A lot of thought and care has gone into our 22 song, fully original soundtrack, and when each track plays during the game. We don't like to just slap in some music and call it a day! 

And if you're curious about how all this sounds, stay tuned - because in a few short weeks, we're going to be uploading a brand new version of our demo, complete with our final VO and OST and a ever so slightly extended ending.

That means we're going to be removing the old version of the demo the meantime, but it had  a great run! Itch.io is where Henchman Story first revealed itself to the world and it's been incredibly rewarding to see your reaction to it over the past year. So thanks to all of you for your patience and support! Hopefully the new demo is just as well received as the first one.

And soon after it drops, we may have some even bigger news up our sleeves...
